Founded in 1989, the Nashville Metros kicked off their run as an indoor team in 1990 and they’d continue to operate well into the new millennium, playing matches in Nashville and the surrounding area. At the time of their folding in 2012, the club was the longest continuously operational semiprofessional soccer club in the United States. The club also enjoyed a five-year run as a professional club before dropping back down to the amateur ranks in the early aughts. This page is currently under construction.
